We are eager to help you get water to your new home. To establish new service at your location, regardless of acreage, you must first request a soil and site evaluation or wastewater permit/recommendation Form 335 E (needed to obtain a water meter or install an on-site system) through the Mississippi State Department of Health On-Site Wastewater Program. Documents needed to establish a new service:
Homeowner:
- Warranty Deed
- Driver's License or ID
- $700 Tap Fee
-Tubing exceeding 10 ft is $3 per foot
- $25 New Service Fee
Renter and/or Mobile Homes:
- Renter or lease agreement
- Driver's License or ID
- $700 Tap Fee
-Tubing exceeding 10 ft is $3 per foot
- $25 New Account Fee
- $150 Deposit (Refundable) **
**If your account is paid in full when you move, your deposit will be refunded. Please contact our office to confirm your forwarding address so we can mail your refund to the correct location.
If there is an outstanding balance on your account, Magee's Creek Water Association (MCWA) will apply your deposit toward the unpaid amount. **
Road Bore Charges
If a road bore is required on a county road, an additional fee of $600 will apply.
For road bores on state highways, the customer is responsible for all permit and road bore expenses. These costs will be determined and provided through consultation with the staff at Magee's Creek Water Association.
